During a QRIS observation, the educator in the 6 weeks to 30 months class did not wash the children's hands before lunch. — Visit: QRIS Monitoring visit,Technical Assistance,Transportation — Action taken: The director reviewed the rules and policies concerning handwashing with the educator during the visit. They discussed using soap and water to wash hands before and after mealtime, diaper changes, etc. The director will observe the educator throughout the day to ensure proper handwashing procedures are being followed. A training referral was sent in to CCR&R to cover handwashing, diaper-changing, and coaching with the infant/toddler coach.
