During the Renewal Inspection on 3/5/2026, the fire drill and fire detection log was up to date with the requirements. However, the log showed the following lapses in the requirements during the previous 12 months: Fire drill was conducted on 5/14/2025 then not again until 7/16/2025 and the fire alarm system was manually tested on 10/9/2025 then not again until 11/13/2025. Requirement: Fire drills are conducted at least once every 60 days. Fire detection devices or systems must be in compliance with standards established under section 1016(c) of the act (62 P.S. § 1016(c). The fire alarm system must be manually tested at least once every 30 days. Correction: These were already corrected prior to the inspection. Inspection: Renewal. Health Information (3280.131(a))

On 3/26/2025, Child #1 had an initial health report on file as of 10/2/2024. However, this was more than 60 days after the child's first day of attendance at the facility. See LIS code sheet. Requirement: The operator shall require the parent of an enrolled child, including a child, a foster child and a relative of an operator or a facility person, to provide an initial health report no later than 60 days following the first day of attendance at the facility. Protective Outlet Covers 5 yrs. or less (3280.65)

On 3/26/2025, two electrical outlets in the childcare room accessible to the children were missing protective receptacle covers. There were also two electrical power strips that did not have protective receptacle covers in the outlets. Requirement: Protective receptacle covers shall be placed in electrical outlets accessible to children 5 years of age or younger. Correction: The power strips were removed from the childcare. No peeling paint or plaster (3280.77(a))

On 3/26/2025, peeling paint was observed in several areas on the bottom part of the house outside in the outdoor play area. Requirement: Peeled or damaged paint or damaged plaster is not permitted on indoor or outdoor surfaces in the child care facility.
