    An unannounced inspection occurred at the facility. A review of staff files was conducted. See the code sheet for the date of hire. The CPSL requires a completed NSOR clearance on file prior to staff working in a child care role at the facility. Staff #1 did not have a completed NSOR clearance on file prior to working in a child care role at the facility. Staff #1 did not receive a completed NSOR clearance until 8/26/25. Requirement: The operator shall comply with the CPSL and with Chapter 3490 (relating to protective services). A facility person's record shall include a copy of requests for the criminal history record and child abuse registry clearance information, a copy of the disclosure statement and a copy of the completed clearance information required under the CPSL. Facility Person #1 may not work in a child care position with direct contact with children at the facility. Correction: Alphabet Express will have new staff fill out all clearances prior to starting. Once completed and returned with a clear record daycare will allow staff to start. Staff will apply for the missing clearance and will be removed from a child care position until the clearance is received. Inspection: Unannounced Monitoring.
