At the time of the unannounced monitoring inspection on 09/16/2024, the outdoor play space designated for Toddlers was observed to have tiny rocks with a diameter measuring less than 1 inch throughout the play space. Child #1 was observed with a rock in their mouth, and Child #2 was walking around with a rock in their hand. Requirement: Toys and objects with a diameter of less than 1 inch, objects with removable parts that have a diameter of less than 1 inch, plastic bags and styrofoam objects may not be accessible to children who are still placing objects in their mouths. Correction: The provider will remove tiny rocks and any other objects that have a diameter less than 1 inch from the play space, ensuring that the play space is safe for use.
