    At time of inspection on 11/12/24, staff person #1 acknowledged that on 11/4/24, staff person #2 was holding child #1 while trying to get a bottle out of the bottle warmer. While trying to pull the bottle out of the warmer, condensation on the warmer handle/bottle splashed onto the child's ankle, causing the child to receive a 2nd degree burn from the hot steam/condensation. Requirement: Hot water temperature, in areas accessible to children, may not exceed 110° F. Correction: All staff will be trained on the policy of not handling a child while warming or testing bottles. The director will ensure there is no liquid in any classroom that exceeds 110 degrees Fahrenheit. During orientation we will suggest to all infant parents that they refrain from using silicone bottles. Inspection: Self-Reported Non Compliance.
