Evidence of violation: A visit was conducted on 11/25/25 regarding a concern received. During this visit it was determined that there have been times that 1 or more staff have yelled, aggressively spoke to a child in response to a child's behavior and placed a child on a nap cot for an extended period of time as a punishment. Children may also have a delay in eating lunch/snack. Method of correction: Ensure that all discipline is age appropriate and if a time out or similar form of discipline is used that it is done for an appropriate amount of time and location. Each staff must enroll and complete "Guiding Behavior: 10 Steps to Positive Discipline". The enrollment must be done immediately with the completion of the training within 30 days. Review the programs Discipline Policy and update if necessary to ensure that what is happening and what the policy states match one another. Notify the licensing specialist when the training is complete and send an updated Policy book if necessary. Time allowed for correction: Immediate.
