   Evidence of violation: A visit was conducted on 7/6/2026 for a concern received regarding staff were vaping while providing care. At this visit it was confirmed that if not all staff, the majority of staff were vaping in the program while providing child care services. This was determined through conversation with those in the program and admitted to by the license holder. Method of correction: - A Smoking Policy be added to the Parent and/or Staff handbook regarding No Smoking in the program along with the building the business is located in, per the North Dakota Smoke - Free law. - A No Smoking sign be placed in each room used by the licensed program along with on any entrance or exit used by the program. This sign must include No Smoking along with pictures or words of the devices that are prohibited from being used. Time allowed for correction: Immediate.
