Evidence of violation: It was found that on 5/26/26 that one staff member was in charge of 16 children with a ratio of 1.74 while at the playground and returning to the center. Method of correction: Do ensure that ratios are being met at all times. If one staff needs to leave with a child make sure that other children are going with that staff member so ratio is being met. Also, do consider having an extra staff member with when at the playground so that you have flexibility in case a staff member needs to return to the center with one child.
