7.11(12), 7.11(12)(d) — Health

During the visit the licensor observed several items stored on one the changing tables. The items included an educator's purse, curriculum items amongst other items. The changing table must not be used for any other purpose to avoid the risk of cross contamination. Corrective action: All non-diapering items were immediately removed, and the surface was sanitized to prevent cross-contamination. Staff were reminded verbally of the regulation that changing tables must be used for diapering purposes only, and a written reminder was posted by all changing areas as a reminder. All staff will participate in a refresher training on diapering procedures and sanitation at the next staff meeting on 7/24/25. Additionally, daily classroom walk-through will be conducted by the Director or Assistant Director to ensure continued compliance, and any violations will be addressed promptly with individual staff members..
