7.07(06) — Physical Facility - Outdoors
The reading area has chipping paint on the walls, on the stairway, and stairway railing. There was chipping paint on the floor board, door frame and wall closet between the kitchen and the classroom. Corrective action: The owners of the building were notified of the chipping paint. They will sand and repaint the area that is in need of repainting when the children are not in attendance.. Regulation: Chipping and Peeling Paint. The licensee must maintain the interior and exterior of the program in good repair, free of chipping, flaking, or peeling paint or broken plaster. One child with Asthma was missing a current IHCP, Medication consent and the medication expired October 2024. Corrective action: Parent was given a new IHCP form to have filled out asap. Parent was also informed of expiration of medication. She will bring in a new prescription asap.. Regulation: Individual Health Care Plans The licensee must maintain as part of a childs record, an individual health care plan for each child with a chronic medical condition, which has been diagnosed by a licensed health care practitioner. The plan must describe the chronic condition, its symptoms, any medical treatment that may be necessary while the child is in care, the potential side effects of that treatment, and the potential consequences to the childs health if the treatment is not administered.
