During the visit a child requested water. The program was out of water bottles. Child was not given a cup to access water from water fountain. Corrective action: The water bottles were delivered later that day. Moving forward there will be cups provided for the water fountain.. During the visit the licensor observed one educator on the playground with approx. 22 children. Corrective action: The Director spoke with the site coordinator about supervision and plans to address this again in the monthly meetings. All staff know that they must be with students at all time. in the case that a staff member must leave the site, another staff member would need to step in.. Regulation: Educators must be positioned to maximize their ability to see and/or hear children in their care., Educators must not engage in any other activities or tasks that could unnecessarily divert their attention from supervising the children. During the visit it was noted that the staff schedule was not posted and available for review Corrective action: The staff schedule was held in the director's office and is currently posted as of 3/16/26.. During a review of medications it was noted that one child's medication was not stored in its original packaging. Corrective action: I reached out to the parent and asked them to provide a new box for the medication so it would be stored in it's original packaging. It was dropped off last week.. Monthly Evacuation drills logs are not current. Corrective action: My [redacted] and [redacted] team practice the fire evacuations each month. [redacted] is currently updating the list to reflect the current dates of practice and posting it this afternoon.. Regulation: The educator must hold practice evacuation drills with all groups of children and all educators from each floor level of the approved space at least monthly.
