According to §17-892.2-11 Statement of Operation Policies (a) Written policies shall be available to parents or guardians. Please update your family handbook to meet the new rule requirements and include the following: (18) the department's information (child care licensing unit telephone number and/or address) for parents should they want to file a complaint. (21) Regular Communications. The family handbook provides information on family conferences and home visits. Please inform parents what will be shared in daily communications. (23) Other policies - mitigating the spread of communicable diseases: what you will do to minimize the spread and what is expected of parents. We received the addendum for (22) Suspension or expulsion. Please provide a written attestation that this policy is shared with parents or guardians and include how and when this information is shared. Correction: Provider has developed the above policies as addendum. They have been advised to include the addendums into future parent handbook iteration.
