HAR §17-892.2-3 — Inspection of facility, activities, records, staff
The Worker conducted a visit on September 9, and October 20, 2025 to The Early Education Center to inspect the program's new facility located at the Mission Memorial Building located at 550 South King Street. We will need to return to conduct an observation of the children in care in addition to verifying that the staff-child ratio and staff employment sequence are being met, as well as observing activities and verifying records. Correction: Child Care Licensing (CCL) Worker conducted an unannounced drop-in visit to The Early Education Center on December 15, 2025 to observe the children in care, and verify that the staff-child ratio is being met. During the visit, the children were observed during indoor and outdoor playtime. The Worker also verified that the roster of enrolled children, attendance records, and children's health records were accounted for. At the time of the visit, there were 29 children in attendance.

Please note the following: HAR §17-892.2-35 (e) Staff training: Each caregiver shall complete on-going (Health & Safety) training within twelve months from the date the initial training was received and recorded by the department, and annually thereafter. Please submit the on-going Health & Safety trainings to PATCH for XXXXX. 16 hours of training is required. Note: Failure to complete the required training will result in the employees being excluded from providing child care until they complete the required training.
