    47. Background Screening (Article VII.B) (47-09)

There was no verification of level 2 clearance for a household member. Comments: At the time of the FCCH License Renewal Inspection, the inspector observed the household members files and noticed that two of the household members had background clearance screening documents, but their documents were needing agency reviews. One of the household members is missing their background screening because they turned 18 but are still in high school and the provider was unaware that they needed a background screening and thought they only needed the PBSO screening documents. Technical Assistance was given to the provider by explaining the process for getting the two agency reviews started as well as the inspector explained to the provider that because the household member is 18 years old that they do need a background screening. HOUSEHOLD/SUB RECORD Compliance Comments At the time of this FCCH License Renewal Inspection, the inspector observed the staff files and found the Physical/TB documents to be current and correctly filled out. 50. Training Requirements (Article VI.B) (50-08)

The substitute's certification in First Aid/CPR was no longer current. Comments: At the time of the FCCH License Renewal Inspection, the inspector observed the substitutes file and observed that while they did have a current CPR/First Aid certificate, it is an online/module program only and not hands on training with an instructor present. Technical Assistance was provided when the inspector explained to the provider that CPR/First Aid training must be done with an instructor present and cannot be online or watching training module.
