Sec. 7-44(f), Ordinance: The childs arrival and departure must be recorded by child care personnel at the time the child enters and departs the child care facility. The attendance sheet/class roster must accompany the child care personnel and the group of children throughout the day should they leave the classroom. In order to account for childrens whereabouts, children who are reassigned to different classrooms throughout the day should be signed in and/or out of the rosters for those respective classrooms each time. The facility failed to maintain an attendance roster for the children in care. License/Certificates [SR] Comments: At the time of inspection, , licensing monitor observed attendance records to be inaccurate in the one-year and three-year old rooms. Children were missing from the roster in the one-year old room and times were not recorded. One child from the three-year old room was not signed out to the enrichment provider. Additionally, the enrichment provider did not have an attendance roster. Following progressive enforcement procedures, a Notice of Violation will be issued. Driver physicals expired in November 2024 and December 2024, respectively. Transportation services were inactive at the time of inspection due to BCPS spring break, and an extension was offered for provider to obtain at least one of the two driver physicals. However, the provider was not able to meet the extension. Driver physicals should be updated prior to transporting children. LICENSE/CERTIFICATES Compliance Comments At the time of inspection, two rooms (listed in floorplan review as "storage" and 'fours") have been completed and set up for use. These rooms, with capacities of 9 and 13 respectively, are now approved for use.
