Sec. 7-22, Ordinance: Each child care facility, substantial compliance facility, and family child care home must maintain at all times a comprehensive general liability policy with a combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage as follows: at least $500,000 for child care facilities and substantial compliance facilities. The child care arrangement must provide the local licensing agency with a certificate of insurance evidencing the required coverage at the time of licensure or registration, as applicable, upon renewal, and upon request of the local licensing agency. The child care arrangement or insurer must provide the local licensing agency at least 30 days notice before the expiration or cancellation of the policy. The facility did not have evidence of the required coverage. Comments: A certificate of insurance evidencing the required coverage has still not been observed.
