Comments: During the course of a complaint inspection related to a child swallowing a magnet the following non-compliance was observed: The 2y/o classroom was equipped with magnetic tiles. After further investigation, Quality Assurance Specialist determined that magnetic tiles are recommended for children ages 3 and up. Although the director already removed the magnet tiles from the 2s classroom, Quality Assurance Specialist asked the director to inspect the classroom for any other non-age appropriate materials. TA was also provided that all magnet tiles in all other classrooms must be inspected for wear and tear in order to maintain them in usable, safe and sanitary conditions.SEE COMPLAINT FORM FOR DETAILS. 18.
