The facility owner failed to notify the licensing authority within five working days of when the facility lost the credentialed director or when there was a change of director. CCF Handbook, Section 4.7, D. 1 and 2 Comments: The Licesning Speclist received notification that the facility had a change of Director on 8/5/25. The Licensing Specialist was not notified until 10/13/25. This standard has been completed at the time of the inspection as the provider notified the Licensing Specialist in an email and will provide the requested documents to make the change for the facility. Per the DCF Handbook Child care facility owners must notify the licensing authority within five working days of when the facility loses a credentialed director or when there is a change of director. 1. The licensing authority will then issue a provisional license for a period not to exceed six months for any facility without a credentialed director. 2. Child care personnel including volunteers who work 10 hours or more per month did not complete the 40 hour Introductory Child Care Training requirement. CCF Handbook Section 4.2.1 Comments: During the time of the inspection the Licensing Specialist monitored 1 staff file in which the staff has not completed the 40 hours of Child Care Training requirement. Per the DCF Handbook 4.2.1 Mandated Introductory Training Child care personnel must successfully complete 40 hours of child care training as evidenced by successful completion of competency examinations offered by the Department or its designated representative with a weighted score of 70 or better. Child care personnel who successfully completed the mandatory 40-hour Introductory Child Care Training prior to January 1, 2004 are not required to fulfill the competency examination requirement. A. Part I Courses (30 Hours) Child care personnel must complete all of the following: ? Child Care Facility Rules and Regulations ? Health, Safety and Nutrition ?
