    Child care personnel failed to immediately contact emergency services and the child's custodial parents or legal guardians in the event of a serious illness, accident, injury or emergency to their child. CCF Handbook, Section 6.3, B & C and 2.5.3, E Health Requirements [SR] Comments: During the time of the inspection the Licensing Specialist discovered that the child care personal at the facility failed to contact the custodial parent when her child sustained a head injury at the facility. The incident occurred in the 11:00 AM and was not notified until the around 3:00PM. This was resolved as the parent was made aware of the incident by the Director at the facility. Per the DCF Handbook Custodial parents or legal guardians must be notified immediately if the event of any serious illness, accident, injury or emergency to their child, and their specificinstructions regarding action to be taken under such circumstances must be obtained and followed. 40.
