The frame of the [fence] was not securely anchored in the ground or stationary by design. CCF Handbook, Section 3.12, B Sanitation and Equipment [SR] Comments: LS observed the frame of the fence was not securely anchored, along with having a spacing between the wood. TA All playground equipment must be securely anchored, unless portable or stationary by design, in good repair, maintained in safe and sanitary condition, and placed to ensure safe use by the children. Maintenance must include inspections conducted every month of all supports above and below the ground and of all connectors and moving parts. Documentation of maintenance inspections must be maintained for 12 months. All equipment, fences, and objects on the facilitys premises shall be free from sharp, broken and jagged edges, and properly placed to prevent overcrowding or safety hazards in any one area. The credentialed director was not on-site a majority of the hours that the facility is in operation as documented on timesheets, personnel schedules or employment records. CCF Handbook, Section 4.7, B Comments: License Specialist observed that The Credentialed Director was not present on-site a majority of the hours that the facility is in operation as documented on previous Inspection Reports. Technical Assistance was given to the Provider as per CCF handbook that ( Section 402.305(2)(g), F.S., requires a Child Care facility to have a credentialed director. Every applicant for a license to operate a Child Care facility or a license for a change of ownership of a child care facility must document that the facility director has an active Director Credential prior to issuance of the license. An applicant for the Director Credential must meet the requirements referenced in CFFSP Form 5290, Florida Child Care and Education Program Director Credential and Renewal Application, which is incorporated by reference in 65C-22.001(7)(k), F.A.C. CFFSP Form 5290 may be obtained from the Departments website at www.myflfamilies.com/childcare. All applications and documentation will be verified, and, if complete, the credential will be issued by the Department or its designated representative on CF-FSP Form 5252, Florida Child Care and Education Program Director Credential, which is incorporated by reference in 65C-22.001(7)(g), F.A.C. Each Child Care facility must have a credentialed director who is on-site a majority of hours, excluding weekends and evening hours that the facility is in operation. ) Violation was corrected at the completion of the Re-Inspection as per the owner's decision of making appropriate Change of Director arrangements for the Facility inspected today. License Specialist sent the owner of the Child Care Program the full blank forms and needed documentation via email to begin the Change of Director process, pending submission and clearance of the Central Abuse Hotline Record Search Form CP 1651 for new Director.
