During the facilitys licensure year, fire drills utilizing the approved alarm system were not conducted monthly at various dates and times when children were in care [in the month of January 2026]. SACCF Handbook, Section 3.8.4, A (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: At the time of inspection, Licensing Specialist determined that the facility failed to conduct monthly fire drills utilizing the approved fire alarm system at various dates and times when children are in care for the months of January 2026. Technical assistance was provided to ensure that fire drills are conducted monthly utilizing approved fire alarm system or smoke detector at various dates and items when children are in care. Fire drills were conducted on 8/29/25, 9/15/25, 10/10/25, 11/21/25, 12/18/25, 2/23/26, and 3/12/26. The facility is closed during the summer. • A fire drill was conducted today in the presence of the licensing authority using the approved fire alarm system which made an audible sound. • Emergency Preparedness drills conducted 8/29/25 (inclement weather), 9/15/25 (lock down), 10/10/25 (inclement weather), 10/24/25 (lock down), 11/19/25 (inclement weather), 12/17/25 (lock down), 2/23/26 (lock down), 3/5/26 (inclement weather), and 4/16/26 (lock down). • Fire extinguisher serviced April 2025. • Fire inspection completed 3/10/25. • Technical assistance was provided to ensure that only one drill is conducted a day. • FOOD AND NUTRITION 22.
