Children were provided food that was not age appropriate and/or posed a choking hazard. CCF Handbook, Section 3.9.3, B & C Food and Nutrition [SR] Comments: Food service inspection conducted. The facility provides breakfast, lunch, and snack. Licensing Specialist observed whole grapes being served for lunch for children ages 2 through 4 years old. Corrected at the time of inspection. Technical assistance was provided regarding foods that are not age appropriate and/or that poses a choking hazard. Provider stated she was unaware that whole grapes could not be served and removed the whole grapes from the lunch plates at the time of the inspection.
