28U — General Qualifications

Ensure staff members who turn 18 are fingerprinted within five days and receive a comprehensive background check as described in the regulations. Send Staff #6 to be fingerprinted by 3/25/2026 and submit receipt to OCCL.

74U — Lesson Plans

Ensure lesson plans for children include activities in physical, social-emotional, language/literacy, and cognitive every day. Ensure lesson plans for two-year-old's contain weekly opportunities in food/healthy habit, science, sensory, and music. Update lesson plans accordingly.

61U — Diapering and Soiled Clothing

Ensure no other trash is in the diaper-only pail. This was corrected at the visit when the bag was replaced and the center agreed to comply.

58U — Sanitation

Ensure soap/water bottle is available in each classroom. This was corrected at the visit when a soap/water bottle was prepared and added to the one-year-old classroom.

53U — Outdoor Area

Ensure gates in the outdoor play area are self-closing and self-latching. Repair gate leading from toddler area into pre-k area and the gate on the right leading to the grassy area. Ensure fall zone requirements are met. Either replenish pea gravel in far right play area under swings and climber or remove items.

50U — Kitchen and Food Preparation

Ensure food, not stored in it's original container, is labeled with the name and expiration date. Add expiration dates to stored food.

49U — Indoor Space

Ensure all sinks supply both hot and cold water. Turn on hot water in one-year-old classroom.

40U — Child Files

Ensure child files are complete. One child needs an updated health appraisal and immunizations.

30U — Personnel Files

Ensure staff files are complete. One staff needs a health appraisal with TB screening and one reference. One staff needs first aid training, adult abuse registry check, and two documented attempts to obtain service letters.

16U — Insurance Coverage

Maintain current insurance documentation.

72U — Feeding of Infants

Ensure nothing is added to an infant bottle, including cereal, without written doctor's permission.

53U — Outdoor Area

Ensure fall zone requirements are met in outdoor play area. Replenish mulch to nine inches in toddler area.

40U — Child Files

Ensure child files are complete. Three children need updated monthly infant feeding statements. One child needs a development plan.

30U — Personnel Files

Ensure staff files are complete. One staff person must complete OCCL's Health and Safety Training for Child Care Professionals.
