During the investigation inspection a person was present and caring for children without a cleared background check. This was corrected during the inspection when the individual was asked to leave.

The operation does not have personnel records for one employee. The employee was caring for children and has an active background check on file for the operation.

This standard was evaluated during the investigation and was found to be deficient. A child jumped over a fence of the operation's playground and walked down the sidewalk unsupervised by the operation's caregiver. The child then returned to the playground through a gate located on the other side of the playground. Two other children were observed climbing up the fence and throwing objects over the fence via video footage.

746.2421(b) - Written Feeding Instructions - Review and Update Every 30 Days

Infant feeding instructions for two infants who are not ready to eat table food were not updated for the current month.

This standard was evaluated during the investigation and was found to be deficient. The operation did not share an incident report with the parent within the required time frame.

This standard was evaluated during the investigation and was found to be deficient. A child was left outside by a caregiver for an undetermined amount of time. Another adult who was present returned the child to the facility.

746.301(5) - Notification of Change in Age Range of Children In Care

During the inspection there were two infants and eight toddlers present. The operation is currently licenced for care for Pre-K and School aged children.

746.201(11) - AP Ensure total number of children both at & away from center within capacity

During the inspection there were 36 children in care. The opereation's total licenced capacity is 35 children. This was corrected during the inspection when children were picked up by parents.

746.301(2) - Notification of Change in Space

During the inspection the operation was caring for children in two unlicenced rooms within the facility.

The operation has had a fire inspection but does not have a copy of the latest fire inspection report.
