The provider was caring for her 9 year old granddaughter on the day of the monitoring visit. Per rule, the age range of children served by a center may not be younger or older than the age range specified in the license. The provider was only licensed to care for children up to age 7. The provider has already corrected this violation by asking for an amendment to change the ages served on her license, so she can provide care to older children when needed.
