During this monitoring visit, the Licensing Specialist observed some cleanliness issues. The front of the dishwasher, garbage can interior lid and exterior, kitchen walls, kitchen cupboards, and the back of the basement door had visible dried food/milk splashes along them. Access To Materials Potentially Harmful To Children (250.06(2)(c))

During a monitoring visit, an upper bathroom cupboard containing beauty products and hairspray labeled 'keep out of reach of children' was found to be unlocked. Taller children would be able to access this cupboard. The licensor also observed a hanging closet organizer with numerous medications, being stored on the back of the door leading to the basement. Because there was no lock on the door, the medications were accessible to children when the door was/is open. Infant & Toddler - Use Of Safety Gates (250.09(1)(c)5.)

Rule states 'Safety gates shall be used at open stairways when children are awake'. On this date, there was no gate blocking the stairs leading up to the second floor. Additionally, there was no gate blocking the entrance to the basement, as the basement door was partially open when this Licensor arrived. All the children in care were awake during the visit.
