Children shall be allowed second helpings of food listed in the USDA's child and adult care meal patterns. On June 2, the lunch served to children ages 3-5, did not meet the age-appropriate nutritional requirements regarding portion sizes and second helpings were not available when requested by several children. The diapering surface shall be cleaned with soap and at least room temperature water and sanitized after each use. Staff #1 did not clean the diaper changing surface. "Cleaned" means treated in such a way to reduce the amount of filth through the use of water with soap or detergent or the use of an abrasive cleaner on inanimate surfaces. Staff #6 was observed changing diapers and did not clean the diaper pad in between changes.
