The complainant reported that she visited the center to pick up a child who was a friend of her own. Upon arrival, an individual entering the center allowed her access. This was her first time visiting the facility. The complainant proceeded to the classroom, where she informed the child, "Hey, let's go." At no point during this interaction was she asked to provide identification or questioned about her identity. — Visit: Complaint Investigation — Action taken: The agency has informed the front desk and the teachers to be sure to sign in and sign out the children accurately. They have also informed them to be sure to check double who is picking up the child. Further, they have informed the families and reminded them of the sign-in and sign-out procedures. The agency shall maintain a daily sign-in and electronic sign record.
