During a visit on 2/24/2026, LC Spells observed, after checking the Emergency Preparedness Plan, that fire drills were not conducted for 2 months. Other emergercy drills had not been documented quarterly. — Visit: QRIS Monitoring visit — Action taken: Moving forward, the director and staff will ensure that all required drills are conducted and documented on a monthly and quarterly basis in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

During an announced QRIS visit FS Pass and LC Spells observed the infant classroom. During the observation, there were five infants sleeping in a nap room that is attached to the infant room. FS Pass observed an educator visually check the sleeping infants, but she did not touch the sleeping infants. — Visit: QRIS Monitoring visit — Action taken: Delaina and all infant teachers were made aware of the need to visually check and physically touch infants while sleeping. Additionally, more training will be completed on SIDs and best Safe Sleep practices.

During an announced QRIS visit FS Pass and LC Spells observed the infant classroom. During the observation, there were five infants sleeping in a nap room that is attached to the infant room. The room was very dark LC Spell could not see the children. The sound machine was loud. — Visit: QRIS Monitoring visit — Action taken: Educators were made aware that the nap room was too dark and that the sound machine was too loud. Additional training will be completed on best Safe Sleep practices in the infant room.

Both educators were in the main classroom and only entered the nap room to check on the children. — Visit: QRIS Monitoring visit — Action taken: Additional staff have been hired so that educators are present in the classroom and in the nap room once infants are sleeping.
