   Two educators were aware of a child being inappropriately disciplined while in attendance at this daycare. Neither of the educators reported this immediately to the proper authorities as required. — Visit: Safety Plan Monitoring — Action taken: A staff meeting was held with all staff immediately to reiterate the importance and requirement of reporting suspected child abuse. The employee observed using inappropriate discipline methods was terminated. All staff will complete training by CCR&R on reporting suspected child abuse.

   A child was inappropraitely discinplined by an educator while in attendance at the daycare. Staff did not report this incident immediately. The director is responsible for the ongoing training and day to day operations of the childcare agency, inluding supervision of the staff. — Visit: Safety Plan Monitoring — Action taken: The director held an employee meeting with all staff to go over the importance and requirement of reporting suspected child abuse. The employee who was observed using inappropriate discipline methods was terminated immediately. Staff will complete training with CCR&R on reporting suspected child abuse.
