During the visit on April 8th, 2025, Childcare Licensing Consultant Lexi Casteel was investigating a complaint of a child not receiving their medication on March 26th, 2025, and found that the medication was never administered by staff, but the medication form had been signed by the director that the medication was given. — Visit: Complaint Investigation,Follow-up visit — Action taken: The provider will undergo mandatory medication administration training and medication form training with CCR&R.

During the visit on April 1st, 2025, Childcare Licensing Consultant Lexi Casteel was investigating a self-reported incident/injury that took place on March 26th, 2025, and found that, according to the Medication Form, the medication was not administered according to the parent/guardian or health care provider's instructions. — Visit: Complaint Investigation,Incident or Injury Investigation — Action taken: The corrective action taken was to post all required medication instructions where staff have easy access to review the documents in the event of an emergency taking place. All staff will also receive additional training for medication administration, storing medications, and medication forms.
