Four infants were left unsupervised. — Visit: QRIS Monitoring visit,Technical Assistance — Action taken: Infant teacher was retrained in rules and regulations that no child will be left attended and a negative demerit was issued for inappropriate action. An additional caregiver will be with the Infant teacher for evaluation and assistance to ensure this does not happen again. We will have the teacher contact the floater or director to be in the room to tend to the children if the teacher needs to leave the room for any reason. No child shall be left unattended at any moment.

Bibs will be removed from infants prior to laying in cribs and no sippy cups will be in or around the infant while in the crib. A safe sleep practice poster is posted in the infant room with reminders of not placing any item in the crib while the infant is laying in the crib. We will have our floater assist the infant teacher during times of napping. The floater will ensure there are no items in the crib while the infant is in the crib.
