An educator was using corporal punishment/inappropriate discipline. — Visit: Complaint Investigation,Technical Assistance — Action taken: The director had a meeting with staff informing them we do not condone corporal punishment because it's against law and center policies. if a child is acting up bring child to the front office/management so parent can be called, I also reminded staff to report to me, OR they can call DHS hot line numbers are posted throughout building and, in every classroom, and that they have a DUTY TO REPORT... ITS THE LAW!
