During an unannounced complaint visit on 11/14/25, LC Walker observed video footage of an educator in the hallway using a harsh method when picking a child up from the floor and walking them to the classroom (2-year-olds). — Visit: Incident or Injury Investigation,Technical Assistance — Action taken: All remaining staff were given reminders via one-on-one coaching by LC and clear instructions were given on how to properly pick up a child up off the floor. The staff will continue to undergo training including but not limited to CCR&R training.

During an unannounced complaint visit on 10/18/24, LC Walker observed video footage of two (2) educators of the 2-2.5-year-old classroom, leaving a child (2 year old) unsupervised in the classroom alone for approximately six (6) minutes while going to another classroom to have Music and Movement and not conducting Name to Face roll call properly. — Visit: Complaint Investigation,Technical Assistance — Action taken: Remaining staff will be re-taught proper use of Name to Face roll call. We will go over proper protocol at an all staff meeting on 10/29/2024 and 11/06/24 Admins will monitor to observe proper use of name to face to face roll call. All staff will be reminded to also physically walk through/sweep the classroom/playground before going to another location.
