Management witnessed on camera in the main office a staff member push a male child onto the rug, and the child was crying. The Director called the teacher into the office and spoke with her to let her know she would be under investigation while on administrative leave from the center. The staff member has been terminated. — Visit: Incident or Injury Investigation,Safety Plan Served — Action taken: The Director met with the staff member to discuss the allegations and informed her of the situation. The staff member was subsequently placed on suspension pending the completion of the corporate investigation. The Tennessee Department of Human Services also implemented a Safety Plan for the employee. The staff member was then terminated.
