On 5/4/26, there was an incident that occured in result of the child care agency failing to ensure that the child care environment and practices support child health and safety. — Visit: QRIS Monitoring visit,Technical Assistance,Follow-up visit,Incident or Injury Investigation — Action taken: After discussing this issue with the church custodian, head trustee, and the TCDC advisory board, the following actions will be taken immediately: 1) The group who uses the space on Sunday evenings will begin paying a cleaning fee for the Janitor to clean the space each Sunday evening. Until now, this group was responsible for cleaning up after themselves. 2) A dust mop was made available to TCDC staff to clean this area. Before children are allowed to play in this space, the staff of the first group each day will run the dust mop and document this in Brightwheel when they do their name to face checks. 3) The building custodian will dust mop the gym every evening moving forward and run the scrubbing machine 2 times per week.
