   A renewal inspection occurred at the facility. A review of staff files was conducted. Regulation requires staff to renew their pediatric FA/CPR certification prior to the most current certification expiring. Staff #1 did not renew their pediatric certification prior to the current certification expiring. The certification expired on 9/30/24 and Staff #1 did not take the training until 10/7/24. Requirement: Competence is the completion of training by a professional in the field of first-aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). All staff persons shall renew their certification in pediatric first aid and pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on or before the expiration of the most current certification. Correction: In the future, staff will renew their pediatric FA/CPR training prior to their current certification expiring. Documentation of the training will remain on file. Inspection: Renewal.    A renewal inspection occurred at the facility. A review of staff files was conducted. See the code sheet for the date of hire. Staff #2 did not complete the mandated reporter training within 90 days of their date of hire. Staff #2 completed mandated reporter training on 3/17/25. Requirement: The operator shall comply with the CPSL and with Chapter 3490 (relating to protective services). Until such time as the required training has been completed, staff person #2 must be supervised, when interacting with children, by an AGS who has completed the required training related to this citation. If there are no staff person(s) available to supervise staff person #2, staff person #2 may not work in a child-care position at the facility. Correction: In the future, staff will complete mandated reporter training within 90 days of their hire date and will be supervised until the training is completed.
