The file of staff person #1 did does not contain DHS required FBI clearance. The file of staff person #2 does not contain NSOR verification. Requirement: The operator shall comply with the CPSL and with Chapter 3490 (relating to protective services). Staff Persons #1 and #2 may not work in a child care position at the facility. A facility person's record shall include a copy of requests for the criminal history record and child abuse registry clearance information, a copy of the disclosure statement and a copy of the completed clearance information required under the CPSL. Staff Persons #1 and 2 may not work in a child care position at the facility. Correction: Facility will maintain compliance with all CSPL requirements. Stairs, exits, etc. unobstructed (3270.91(a))

Pre-k 2 classroom had stacked chairs in front of door that is used for an exit. Requirement: Stairways, hallways, exits from rooms, exits from the facility and other means of egress serving as an exit shall be unobstructed. Correction: Director immediately moved chairs to an area that was not obstructing an exit and notified teachers that chairs should not be in front of exit. Inspection: Renewal. Building Surfaces (3270.76)

Pre-k 1 classroom and 3 year old classroom had baseboard molding peeling away from the wall. Requirement: Floors, walls, ceilings and other surfaces, including the facility's outdoor play space surfaces shall be kept clean, in good repair and free from visible hazards. Pertinent Laws & Regulations (3270.14)

During renewal inspection on 4/15/25, Cert Rep observed an inspection report from an inspection done by Chester Co Dept of Health on 4/10/25 that showed the facility was noncompliant with their regulation 406.12.4 Requirement: A facility shall be operated in conformity with applicable Federal and State laws and regulations.State agencies whose regulations may relate to the operation of a facility include the Department of Environmental Resources, the Department of Labor and Industry, the Department of Health, the Department of Education and the Department of Transportation. Correction: Facility implemented correction which was verified by report sent from the Chester County Department of Health on 4/17/25 stating corrective actions have been implemented.
