A small doll shoe was observed in a toy bin in room 1 while toddlers were present in care. Requirement: Toys and objects with a diameter of less than 1 inch, objects with removable parts that have a diameter of less than 1 inch, plastic bags and styrofoam objects may not be accessible to children who are still placing objects in their mouths. Correction: Check all bins to ensure they are free of inappropriately sized items, including inspecting dolls for small accessories so they do not get mixed in with other materials.The doll shoe was removed from the toy bin and the bins were searched again to ensure there were no other little items inside Inspection: Renewal. A facility person's record shall include a copy of requests for the criminal history record and child abuse registry clearance information, a copy of the disclosure statement and a copy of the completed clearance information required under the CPSL.
