A renewal inspection was conducted at the facility on 3/23/26, an unlocked cabinet in the preschool room contained 2 containers of Clorox wipes and a spray can of disinfectant which were accessible to children. Requirement: Cleaning materials and other toxic materials shall be kept in an area or container that is locked or made inaccessible to children. Correction: The Clorox wipes and disinfectant spray has immediately been moved to a bin that is out of the children's reach. The items are inaccessible to children. Inspection: Renewal. A renewal inspection was conducted at the facility on 3/23/26, at approximately 10:00 AM nine children were observed in the preschool room, which has a capacity of 7. The posted daily schedule indicated this room is over capacity from 3:00-4:00. Requirement: The capacity established for an indoor space may not be exceeded except in situations described in § 3270.61(h)(1-3) When the number of older toddler, preschool or school-age children participating in a program activity exceeds the capacity of the child care space each time period shall be designated on the facility's schedule of daily activities. Correction: The owner adjusted the daily schedule to show the room capacity increases for special activities and the schedule has been posted in the preschool room. Inspection: Renewal. A renewal inspection was conducted at the facility on 3/23/26, Staff Person #3 was observed reaching over the diaper changing table and lifting the lid to the trash can to throw away a soiled diaper. Requirement: If disposable diapers are provided by a parent or by a facility, a soiled diaper shall be discarded by immediately placing the diaper into a plastic-lined, hands-free covered can. A renewal inspection was conducted at the facility on 3/23/26, when Staff Person #1 and Staff Person #2 were asked to identity the specific children they were responsible for, they said that they did not have care groups. Requirement: Each staff person shall be assigned the responsibility for supervision of specific children. The staff person shall know the names and whereabouts of the children in his assigned group. The staff person shall be physically present with the children in his group on the facility premises and on facility excursions off the facility premises. Correction: The schedules are subject to change day to day based on the individual needs of the children. The owner will share the daily written schedule with all staff before their scheduled shift. A renewal inspection was conducted at the facility on 3/23/26, in the outdoor play space a wooden playhouse had a small hole in the siding, and a wooden board was loose with a nail sticking out. Requirement: Toys, play equipment and other indoor and outdoor equipment used by the children shall be clean, in good repair and free from rough edges, sharp corners, pinch and crush points, splinters and exposed bolts. In the preschool room there was an area of the wall that was damaged.
