Requirement: A written plan shall be conspicuously posted which identifies the means of transporting a child to emergency care and the facility staffing provisions in the event of an emergency. The plan must accompany a staff person who leaves the facility on an excursion with children. Correction: Upon learning of this requirement during the unannounced licensing inspection on June 4, 2026, the provider immediately developed the required written emergency transportation and staffing plan using guidance provided by the licensing representative and an example shared by a fellow provider. The completed plan was posted in a conspicuous location (the parent board), and an additional copy was placed in the facility's excursion bag to accompany staff during all excursions.
