Stairs, exits, etc. unobstructed (3270.91(a))

At the time of the inspection, observed an easel in front of a door, obstructing the door in the Pre K room. Requirement: Stairways, hallways, exits from rooms, exits from the facility and other means of egress serving as an exit shall be unobstructed. Correction: The easel was removed from the door way at the time of inspection. All staff members were advised to keep doorways clear and unobstructed. Inspection: Renewal. Clean and good repair (3270.102(a))

Observed in the indoor gross motor space a Disney brand red and yellow riding toy with a cracked knob on the right side. Observed in room 110 foam blocks with teeth marks. Requirement: Toys, play equipment and other indoor and outdoor equipment used by the children shall be clean, in good repair and free from rough edges, sharp corners, pinch and crush points, splinters and exposed bolts. Observed child #1 sleeping on a large pink pillow which is not proper sleep equipment nor was it labeled for the use of a specific child. Requirement: Individual, clean, age-appropriate rest equipment shall be provided for preschool, toddler and infant children as agreed between the child's parent and the operator. The rest equipment shall be labeled for the use of a specific child and used only by the specified child. Correction: Child's parent was asked to provide a sleeping bag for the child to use. The file of child #3 lacked a current child service report. The most recent report in the file was dated 2/2025.
