   In the infant room, peeling paint and plaster was observed to be chipping off the walls and collecting on the windowsill directly above the infant play area. Requirement: Floors, walls, ceilings and other surfaces, including the facility's outdoor play space surfaces shall be kept clean, in good repair and free from visible hazards. Peeled or damaged paint or damaged plaster is not permitted on indoor or outdoor surfaces in the child care facility. Correction: The dust was cleaned immediately. A contractor was contacted prior to this date. He came and did a walk through on 11/7/25 and gave an estimate to repair paint. He will be coming at the end of December/beginning of January to do the repairs. We will continue to monitor the spot and dust daily if needed. Inspection: Allocated Unannounced Monitoring.    Staff person #1 had an NSOR clearance dated 4/8/25, which was received after beginning work with children. NSOR for Staff #1 is on file and clearances are up to date. Requirement: The operator shall comply with the CPSL and with Chapter 3490 (relating to protective services). A facility person's record shall include a copy of requests for the criminal history record and child abuse registry clearance information, a copy of the disclosure statement and a copy of the completed clearance information required under the CPSL.    In the infant room, a mini fridge was observed with a microwave resting on top. The fridge was observed to wobble when touched, causing the microwave to be at risk of falling. Requirement: Furniture must be durable, safe, easily cleaned and appropriate for the child's size, age and special needs.
