The hand sanitizer and facial spray were labeled Keep Out of Reach of Children and could be accessible to children in the classroom. In the upstairs left classroom, a bottle of hand sanitizer was observed on the window ledge and could be accessible to children in the classroom. In the main right classroom, the door to the hand-washing closet was observed to be unlocked. Cleaning products, to include bleach, window cleaner and Fabuloso, were observed on a shelf in the hand-washing closet and could be accessible to school age children receiving care in the space. Requirement: Cleaning materials and other toxic materials shall be kept in an area or container that is locked or made inaccessible to children. Correction: The closet door where the toxics are kept now has a lock on it. The hand sanitizers were removed and made inaccessible. Inspection: Renewal. Requirement: When children are grouped in mixed age levels, the age of the youngest child in the group determines the staff:child ratio and maximum group size in accordance with the requirements in § 3270.51 (relating to similar age level). At the time of inspection, the facility lacked documentation of the facility's Shaken Baby Syndrome/Child Maltreatment policy. Staff #2 and Staff #3 were observed to be caring for children unsupervised. Staff #2 and Staff #3 do not have a current Pediatric First Aid/CPR training. This is evidenced by the previously documented Pediatric First Aid/CPR training on file for Staff #2 and Staff #3 with an expiration date of 1/2025. Requirement: A facility shall be operated in conformity with applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. State agencies whose regulations may relate to the operation of a facility include the Department of Environmental Resources, the Department of Labor and Industry, the Department of Health, the Department of Education and the Department of Transportation. Conditions at the facility may not pose a threat to the health or safety of the children. Until such time as the required trainings are completed, Staff #2 and Staff #3 must be supervised, when interacting with children, by an Assistant Group Supervisor at minimum who has completed the required training related to this citation. If there are no staff person(s) available to supervise Staff #2 and Staff #3, Staff #2 and Staff #3 may not work in a child care position at the facility.
