On September 9, 2025 during the complaint investigation, it was acknowledged that Staff #1 and Staff #2 left Child #1 alone in the classroom for 10 minutes. Requirement: Children on the facility premises and on facility excursions off the premises shall be supervised by a staff person at all times. Outdoor play space used by the facility is considered part of the facility premises. Correction: Staff #1 and Staff #2 was suspended for 1 day, they had to complete a Supervision training as well as a Counting Children training on Better Kid Care. On 12/19/24, at time of unannounced inspection, the heating unit connected to the Toddler A, Twaddler and Prepper B classrooms was not in service. Requirement: The indoor temperature shall be at least 65° F. Correction: Heating unit in Toddler A, Twaddler and Prepper B rooms is waiting for mechanical parts to arrive and be repaired by service technician. In the meantime, no children are being cared for in the classrooms where the temperature does not measure over 65 degrees F. Children/staff have been combined in other classrooms that contain heat.
