Additional Non-Compliance Found During Investigation: Hazard: A pill (medication) was found on the playground. Complaint finding: Substantiated (complaint #18815). Plan to correct: Playground is inspected for hazards by teacher prior to all children being allowed on the playground and cameras are being installed throughout the playground area. Behavior & Guidance/Discipline (Serious): Weighted vest used on child. Complaint finding: Substantiated (complaint #18815). Plan to correct: Teacher dismissed immediately, all weighted material have been removed from the classrooms, teachers received training on redirecting distracted behaviors, Learning Tree has updated the teacher Policy & Procedures Handbook to include appropriated practices and require signatures acknowledge of said policies, and cameras are being installed in all classrooms for monitoring children and teacher interactions.
