Inappropriate Discipline: Teaching personnel uses physical punishment to correct behavior and is extremely rough with children: teaching personnel drug child across the floor and has been seen doing this to other children; teaching personnel knocks children down on their mats by pulling their legs out from under them; and holds their hand over their mouths. Complaint finding: Substantiated (complaint #18249). Plan to correct: Director stated personnel will be removed from the classroom. Training in behavior and guidance and appropriate discipline will be implemented each month. Classroom observations will be conducted by a child care coach and recommendations implemented.
