Plan to correct: Notice to Comply received 10/10/24 - On the day of the incident, the program director spoke with the two teachers in charge about making sure the gates for the outdoor play area were closed properly; the program has since enacted a plan to ensure proper supervision; management spoke with the two staff regarding supervision requirements for outdoor play; staff are now walking throughout the entire outdoor play areas to ensure the safety of all children; all staff will be participating in training on10/14/24 during which expectations for supervision will be reiterated; in addition, a work order has been made for all gates and latches to be checked to ensure they are working properly; in the meantime, management will observe all gates and latches each morning to ensure they are working properly.
