Children's records

One child present did not have an immunization record Visit: Periodic / Full. Plan to correct: Primary caregiver will obtain a copy of the immunization record at child pickup today, and send a copy to licensing. CPR and first aid certification

Primary caregiver does not have current CPR/1st aid training; the previous training expired 3/31/25. Visit: Periodic / Full. Plan to correct: Caregiver plans to complete online training this evening through American Red Cross; proof of training will be provided to Licensing prior to children returning to care. Animals and household pets

Three dogs present today do not have current rabies vaccinations, expired 9/23/24; another dog present does not have proof of rabies vaccination on file. Visit: Periodic / Full. Plan to correct: The three dogs owned by caregiver will receive new rabies vaccinations; the owners of the other two dogs will provide proof of current rabies vaccination to caregiver, or obtain a current vaccination if necessary. The dogs in the home will not be in the presence of day care children until proof of current rabies vaccinations are on file;; caregiver will set reminders to ensure rabies vaccinations for pets do not expire. Plan to correct: Caregiver states she will move the refrigerator closer to an outlet where it can be plugged in directly; if this does not work, she will purchase a surge protector cord that meets the power load standards for refrigerators.
