Evidence of violation: At the time of my visit, Shelby was the only staff member present and was supervising 11 children, resulting in a staff-to-child ratio of 1:11 equaling1.66 ratio points. Method of correction: Keep track of ratio points to ensure you do not exceed 1.34 points when working alone. If your helper is unable to work, you must notify parents that you cannot care for additional child(ren) that day in order to remain within the required staffing ratio.
